Use long-distance CATx links to communicate with serial devices. Control presentations remotely. Transfer data between computers. Ideal for a wide variety of applications. Optical isolated. These CATx Line Drivers enable the user to place a receiving device up to 4000 feet away from the sending device. The local unit has a DB9 female connector and is configured as a DCE device; the remote unit has a DB9 male connector and is configured as a DTE device. This allows the local/remote pair to function as a long extension cable between two RS-232 devices. There are no user-configurable settings. These units pass TXD, RXD, RTS, and CTS signals to allow application to use hardware handshake signals if neccessary.

Return Window
- Returns are accepted within 25 calendar days from the delivery date.
- Products must be unused, unworn, and returned in their original condition.
- Original packaging, manuals, accessories, and tags must be included.
Non-Returnable Items
- Items damaged after delivery.
- Products reported damaged after use.
- Used or altered merchandise.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Refund Processing
- All returned items are inspected upon receipt.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
An approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required before sending any product back to Westend IT Store.
RMA Eligibility
- Request Period: Within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Condition: Original packaging, manuals, accessories and documentation are required.
- Serial Number: The serial number must match the original purchase invoice.
Not Eligible for RMA
- Products damaged by accident, abuse, misuse or natural disasters.
- Products with missing, altered or tampered serial numbers.
- Custom-configured systems or special-order products.
- Activated software or digital licenses.
Shipping Guidelines
- RMA Marking: Clearly write the approved RMA number on the outside of the shipping carton. Do not write the RMA number directly on the product packaging.
- Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.
- RMA Expiration: RMA numbers remain valid for 10 calendar days from the date of issue. Returned products must arrive within this period.
Resolution Options
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, one of the following resolutions will be provided based on product eligibility.
- Replacement: A replacement unit will be shipped at no additional cost, subject to product availability.
- Refund: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method after inspection and approval.
- Restocking Fee: A restocking fee may apply depending on the manufacturer's policy and the reason for the return.
